What about Error 56?
My phone isn't working after updating it to the latest version. I tried restoring it and it's giving me Error 56. Any help?

So you are still forced to shell out even more money to the greedy sods to get a repair. If you try to go to an independent repair shop, your device is left with limited functionality.
Would you buy say a car where the car were not fully functional if you yourself (or an independent mechanics) fixed whatever was wrong? It is amazing that aPple are able to avoid to be hit by a huge legal hammer for their conduct...... And even more amazing that someone in here wants to defend the despicable conduct. "Land of the free..." my foot...

Still no ok. Why does they have to disable a perfectly working touch ID?
You are gonna lose a lot of customers apple.

My iPhone 6 had an error 53 and nobody can fixed it. Then I have to pay 120$ to the phone shop to replace Touch ID sensor.
Apple you must give me back my money!

What bugs me about this whole debacle is that Apple knew from the start what error 53 meant so why does the error message say "unknown error"? And why tell people to attempt a restore when they knew it must be doomed to fail?

If you purchase Apple Care or get it with the upgrade plan, it's 3 years of warranty. Apple will fix almost anything that is a quality issue, and some things at a cost which is the users fault. Perhaps it's more expensive, but you'll get warranty on the repair itself which you rarely get from a small repair shop.
On top of that, they fixed the Error so where's the problem?

Why am I not surprised that the fruit crooks do not like repair shops where they do not get their filthy hands on the lions share of what the poor user has to shell out, for fixing the fruit junk....
