Why the bezels of the s7 isn't narrow, it seems wide and not as bezels of the note 5 in shape ?

A lot of companies barely change design as you mentioned and no complaints. But this S7 specs have me drooling. I want one.

Well... the design is kind of "growing" on me. It's not a revolution and certainly it didn't cause the same "impact"/"wow factor" the S6 Edge did last year, but SD820 should also mean better 3rd-party ROM support than last year's Exynos (something which either makes or breaks the sell in my books).
No USB type-C is a major bummer to me (I like to keep phones working for many years, and this *is* the new standard moving forward), but I also understand how people who "dispose" their phones after 1yr/2yr may not care much (AT ALL) about this -- however one the last words I would want associated with my flagship device is exactly "disposable", nevertheless that's what people are going for, so...
Oh well... there never was such a thing as "the perfect phone", so it's only fair to assume the S7 wouldn't start being perfect.

I am curious: why is there a black square around the back camera lens? Some phones just have the lens, but with the S line it has a relatively large black square around it. Any ideas? Is it a technical thing or just looks?

It is kinda round for my taste (I own a Sony), but i admit it has good specs. Reminds me a lot of the old GS3 which makes it look a bit medium. In the photo with the usb slot i thought it's an iphone lol.
But this year all major brands will have:
- SnapDragon 820
- Adreno 530
- 4-5 GB RAM
- QHD Display
Adding SD Card and Waterproof is the best move Samsung did this year from my point of view. Those two features made me choose Sony last year.
This year the major criteria to choose will be the design. but everyone will choose what they like and fits them best.
Beat of luck to every brand, specially HTC and LG (it those leaked photos are real, they kinda blew it with the G5's design).

The 'soap bar' effect seems to mostly come from the extra curvy 2.5D glass and not the overall shape. And yeah, while the black, silver and gold look nice enough, the metallic blue and green of last year looked amazing when you saw them in person. My wife has the green S6 Edge and I'm always slightly jealous..

I disagree for same ditto design, but look at prices started from 400$ S3 TO 850$ FOR S7. Why disparity MP enhanced is No guarantee fr brilliance, So Any Idi t will buy now? Just wait but 3rd qtr and prices settle to 500$.

What you say is truly known by s6 owners, but potential buyers are willing to believe it because its glass, especially after apples lousy previous glass iimpementation, you could not go a day in town without seeing broken iphones., Samsung now have goog looking premium built phones with good software, the best screens, as good as it gets camera and music experiances and the removeable battery and sd card ploys are getting stale especially when apple don't have them and the media pro's don't even mention it let alone pull them to pieces
for it. No, samsung phones now are just about the pinnacle of mobile products, so thier sales have to be stopped by any blather that is feasable to be posted.

When it comes to Samsung, everybody rants.. Why? I mean, untill a design is really cool, whats the problem with same design?

This phone has nothing special compared to its predecessors. It's basicallly the same galasy phone since GS3. I am more eager to see what features come on G5 than on this predictable device.
