I had a G3 for a short while and it was slow, terrible sharpness in the screen, bad camera quality (like G2), over heated a lot, etc. etc.
G4 was great, just a few issues that could be solved easily in software updates.
My S4 was great but a bit on the slow side.

Not really, Samsung hardware is crap too, only thing good is the screen and camera but it fails earlier than others, I have had my S4 failing battery in 15 months and then wireless/Bluetooth dead in 18 months, so much for a phone that costed me $1000 when purchased.

            I had a nexus s ,galaxy s2,note 2,note 3,s5 lte ,moto g 4g,moto g 3rd gen,sony z1 compact.
Samsung software is crap, their hardware is top notch.Best devices have been the Z1 compact and the Note 3.I have gone back to mamma Google by bying an LG Nexus 5x and feeling back home.It is no perfect phone by any means but still feels ahead of its time and shows the future (NEX(t)US) of mobile.
Only pure android matters to me any more..

G5 will be a flop- like the G3 experience.

I have a G4 and an S6. I prefer the S6 as it's faster, snappier, has a much better screen and screen responsiveness. The S6 feels like I'm using an iPhone, which is good in my opinion as the quality of iPhones is superior (s6 is its equal now, Android just makes it better :) ).
The G4 has a great camera, superior sound quality, and better camera software, but everything else about it isn't very good. It has its issues where it misses a few keyboard taps and I can't text properly for my work, (yes that's after all the touchscreen fixes, which I never had much of). I do like the curve of the G4, which is smart and protects its screen. G4 tends to turn on the screen on its own when I put it down, no idea why, and every few days it will say that bug report has been captured and displays a notification on its own. The screen responsiveness is very bad, when you touch the screen it is slower to register that you touched it compared to Galaxy phones (which are near instant like iPhones), panning is sluggish and not like the Galaxy phones / iPhones.

I had the G2, G3, and now G4 (Which I'm selling), and I just don't trust LG to make good software and reliable phones anymore. I had the Galaxy S1 (still have it), S4, S4 Zoom, S5 (for my wife now), and now S6, and can definitely say that Samsung has better and more reliable smartphones than LG (both innovate a lot). I still want a removable battery in the S7 but I'm sure it won't be included =(.

B&O does not necessary mean super awesome speakers that pump out 1000watt of bass from the tiny phone speakers. It will be better than others, but just slightly.

Removable battery, magic slot, always on display, dual camera, metal design, usb type c, B&O Hi-Fi DAC etc if what we hear... while samy.. with S7 brings pressure sensor, IP67 welcome... non removable battery.

What the basis need of every smartphone is the battery juice...and practicality.
and by removable battery and many innovative tech,
                                  Way to go LG!

Im a G4 owner and have been very happy with this phone but i must say, the G5 looks damn ugly. Even the robot promoting the phone looks better designed.

Lookwise S7 is better than G5. But G5 got replaceable battery. If G5 is going to be more than 5.3" in screensize, then big no to it. G5 is a phablet... When is LG going to release a flagship phone and not a phablet?

S7 tempts me a lot, becos it has stunning looks (eventough it is same as S6 in lookwise, I havent had S6)... Water resistant....

Will wait for next few months and then decide.... if its going to be S6 128gb or S7 32gb.
