It's BS to think that you're designing whilst you don't, it's not just the circuitry, it's the idea of making it work with the shape and functionality you had in mind.
For example architects have also to learn newtonian physics, because without understanding how gravity works their design may well be for nothing (i.e. a non-design)
Same with phones/watches whatever. If it's high-tech you have -first- to think if it's feasible. Not everyone can do that, in fact very few can. What's design in low-tech is not design in high-tech.
It's not rumbling, I'm enlightening you...

I like it. It's better than apple iwatch shit. Design is discrete, so it doesn't pop out from your hand and it works without your smartphone. You can communicate and i hope battery is good enough. Never was into smartwatches but if device works without smartphone, able to communicate, navigate and battery enough for at least 3 days(more days better) it could help many active people and probably would buy.

The idea that celebrities can design and/or create a piece of tech is laughable at best. The great thing about music or art is how incredibly low tech it is. Everybody can grab an instrument and fiddle a few notes and/or brush and paint something and if he/she is talented so much more power to him/her.
High tech is entiiirely different. It's based on our (piss poor) understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory. None of which are graspable even in principle to a layman. In fact there are probably very few people in the world capable of designing a piece of electronics right now.
So it's entiiirely different than artifacts made of paint or sound. They are artifacts made of Physics, Mathematics and Information theory. You don't f*** with those three. You feel belittled and study them all life long.
So -no- this is not a product designed by will.i.am, it couldn't be. He probably gave his opinion about the design language, which is probably less than 5% of tthe whole artifice.
Only fools would believe that people like Ashton Kutcher, Will.i.am , Steve Jobs (and the like) design anything... they're just used as salesmen by the people who really design the stuff (whose numbers are really in the few hundreds/thousands worldwide, literally one in the million).
BTW it's them that we should aspire to, the modern wizards, not clowns like Ashton Kutcher and will.i.am that frequently hit the news...
