Z5 Compact needs a fixed camera, 2,5D glass, thinner body and metallic or either black and white version with white back and sides and black front panel.

This may even be a new Xperia E (low-end). The back is likely plastic with an engraving that mimics brushed aluminum (like Lenovo does on their laptops). The way the screen is fitted also reveals it's not an high-end device.
Could also be a new mid-range device, but then Sony is getting way behind with those huge bezels. My bet is on a "more-premium" low-end device.

And Apple fans (which I'm not) never complain about their products whether bad or not while Android world is completely different where there are lots of complaints and OEMs get to chance to correct them and move the way the customer wants while Apple imbibes in the mind of customer that they want that specific thing only

Judging from the power button, seems it have the fingerprint sensor like Z5 one.
Hopefully it'll be waterproof and dustproof like sony other smartphone series.
If the phone where sony engineer quip, "i think customer will be willing to buy thicker phone if it have bigger battery", is referring to this one. Then it might have big battery too.

Like the new design, seems very robust, steel back, thicker front glass, not thin meaning bigger battery inside...
Its a 5 incher...
Finally a more interesting presentational lockscreen and wallpaper, consumers fall for that little detail...
Probably M5 succesor
Sony make believe :-)
