Well, my guess is that this is ony the preorder price, maybe it will be lower.
On the other side... with Sony you can't really go only over the specs. I've used some Sony phones and they really perform way better than all the other phones with similar specs, Sony is like Apple in that sense, they optimize their UI A LOT so their phones perform better using the same specs and they provide really nice updates on their apps.
I can say, they put a bigger effort than most companies in their software, they provide a really nice user experience.

The prices demanded by Sony, are similar to other companies. There are small differences of the price. Slowly, but surely, Sony will be forced to reduce production costs, because they will have to drop in the future, all prices on their phones. If you do this, you will have big problems, including bankruptcy.
I love this new series from Sony. Finally, he changed the appearance of the cell phones, from the old series Z.

Their only advantage in premium segment which is water resistant, already caught up by SGS7. And if they keep going on like this without any major improvement like G5, well, godspeed Sony....
