24 February, 2016
Microsoft has made yet another app for Android, this time a keyboard. The Microsoft Hub Keyboard looks like a simple keyboard at first but it has a few tricks up its sleeve.

Hahahaha! So Android became a free testing platform for Microsoft. That way they can have their apps tested by a lot of users for free and when they deem them good, they'll add them to Windows Store and add some extra features.
Don't know if they'll remove these from the Play Store after they get released on Windows, though.

It's a neat concept. I hope they eventually incorporate these features into their very good WordFlow keyboard on Windows 10 Mobile. As a side note, I really hope they bring their WordFlow keyboard to full Windows 10.

AnonD-425519, 24 Feb 2016Would have been better if they announced it's a beta you me... moreIt's not a beta, it's an experiment. A research project, basically, from the Microsoft Garage project.

Gibby, 24 Feb 2016This is typical of Microsoft Obsessed with plugging links ... moreI know why they released this application on Android, and it's because it's an experimental research application. They'll collect some feedback on the core functions of this keyboard, make any necessary changes, and then, if feedback is positive, incorporate these functions into their one true keyboard: WordFlow.

          This is typical of Microsoft
Obsessed with plugging links to their own softwares etc but no emphasis on real world usage.
          Who's gonna use this?!
Maybe they should concentrate to developing useful apps for their own OS instead of useless ones for Android!

Because it is an experimental app. It's there on the title of the app, hub keyboard, preview. Made by Microsoft Garage, itself the experimental division of Microsoft. Expecting a finished product from an experiment is kind of wishful thinking.

Would have been better if they announced it's a beta you mean. Perhaps it is a beta.
