The only problem with small sensor is small optics. The smaller the hole, the less light goes through. So no matter how much you improve the sensor, you won't get more light reaching it. At some point they'll have to enlarge the sensor itself.

Finally seeing some higher frame rates for slower slow motion. Haven't seen an increase in slow motion in a long time.

so this sensor can shoot up to 240 fps 1080p, and some Mediatek chipset can do 460 fps, but we're still dealing with 720p @ 120fps on all the available android devices, except Np6.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2016Funny how I was looking at the 16880 only yesterday too.ov16880 is 1/3 sensor, 1micron pixel size that mean smaller sensor than 1/2.6 of ov13870. at 1.3micron pixel size. however still not as best as sony imx377 at 1/2.3 sensor of nexus 5p & 5x
