Anonymous, 28 May 2010Seriously Acer if you can't be bothered to include a flash ... moreThe media keys are actually a great idea. You try enjoying music on an android fone, or any touch fone for that matter. Thats their achilies heel. Its actually very convenient to be able to skip tracks while ur fone is in ur pocket without having to pull it out.

No flash, dull chunky design - no need to bother with it.

Are you serious people !
We dont even have a coming out date for this phone and you are talking about "laggy UI" ?! Seriously, you need to think before you type your comments. It is probably still going under some pretty serious development.
Peace.

Seriously Acer if you can't be bothered to include a flash then you might as well NOT include a cam altogether FFS.And whose idea was it for those 3 media keys?He smoked a good one that's for sure.

Great phone, well done Acer but we expect and good support for such a phone, don't do it like Samsung that they don't know what support means!

After having many different android phones, that is something i would like to try. But it's ugly and no flash :(
Nice specs can't wait to try it.

An Acer nice try, i love the colorful UI.
But it's quite a rush to make this phone official ~ this one still needs lot of improvement on the UI.
And the 3 buttons at the bottom is not really everyone's cup of tea and it makes the bottom looks crowded (well, its BIG). But if these button is a must, it would be better replaced with small touch sensitive button (besides it will be look classy)

First, its nothing close to be like Nexus One and
Second they shouldn't put those 3 buttons at the very buttom, they are making entire handset very bad. With a different style of button might work.

as much as the specs are great, the acer UI is so sloppy... it's so damn laggy.. although i appreciate acer putting there own style on top of a vanilla android, they could have done better optimizing the UI for the phone... shame i'd say.

Samsung AMOLED by the way. Samsung will lose market share if they continue to sell OLED technology to their competitors.

wow surprised that at least 5 people didnt say "woow great phone when it is coming out i wanna have it!!!"
As far as i've seen, if thats best acer can do ... i'd suggest they would earn more money on closing the factory and selling the equipment while it is still worth anything. Coz that phone .. only ppl who will buy it by mistake or get it for a present by a rookie phone buyer with good intentions. I cant imagine a reasonable person buying that laggy and rather wierd designed phone for more than .. 5€/$

Yes! I really liked the way acer entered the mobile market and their first really serious step towards the android with the Liquid and company was appreciated all over. Now i'm not a big acer affectionado bt kudos to acer for the work they have done with the Stream. It may not be pretty bt it definitely has the potential, i'm keenly following the battle now: Stream, the HTC brigade and yes don't forget the Samsung '9k'.

I reallly don't get this megapixel and HD hype on phones. I think they're cool features, but why spend so much energy and technology into it over a phone? How many videos and photos do users take everyday? I really don't get it. Same thing with video calling. Again, I think these are cool features, but really, they're not used regularly like web browsing and 3rd party apps are. I even think that a phone's music player is used more than its camera. So go figure.
