This company.VOBO, managed to produce a phone that is more competitive than products from from Samsung or Apple.
Cards of this company. If will continue in this mode, will have just won.

Wouldn't recommend this phone. To be honest. It is not worth it. Just a marketing trick. Chinese + skin + no updates is a deal breaker. For me, QHD is a deal beaker also. FHD is the most the smartphone should have.

          Something between S6,S7,S8.

It's as if an iPhone and a Samsung Edge had a baby and that baby grew up and had sex with a Huawei.

Some serious hardware. That's for sure.
Heck even when the latest Samsung and LG phones use "4GB” of RAM!

AnonD-404954, 01 Mar 2016damn expensiveThe closest phone to the XPlay 5 Elite (*Filter: Samsung phones) which has similar specs is the Samsung S7. The Samsung S7 is £639/$892.58, of which has inferior specs to the XPlay 5 Elite, while the XPlay 5 Elite costs £468.91/$655 and had superior specs, and yes it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge which I think has a beautiful phone architecture, and one thing I thought I would miss by purchasing this phone over a Samsung is the Multi Window, but I read something g about the software inside the XPlay 5 Elite having multi screen apps, so this is a definite purchase for me.

The Chinese have proved enough in my mind, these are legit phones, one of which I'm using cost me £109 and has been the most consistent error free and reliable Android phone I have ever bought, and I bought it as an impulse purchase from Amazon after reading about the UMI eMaxx on GSMArena.com and then seeing the phone while Browsing Amazon. The phone came as Next Day Delivery and to be honest I was expecting hardly any apps to work on it, I thought it was gonna be some kind of knock off Android version that would only install stuff like Google Docs and Google Drive and maybe a few third party apps. I was wrong, I'm typing from it now using my favorite keyboard SwiftKey a nd everything works just as well as when I had my Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but for some reason it doesn't restart randomly or slow down, maybe it's the operating system that came with it and maybe Android really has progressed that far, but I just feel that the ROM that came with this phone is amazing, I just checked and its Android 4.4.4,it came pre-rooted so I didn't have to plug it in anywhere to start the process, and it has just sold everything to me.

I can't wait to get this futuristic art deco looking XPlay 5 Elite, and I hope it comes pre-rooted and stable. With the price hundreds less than the S7 and having superior specs, I think I will feel good knowing I've got closer to the real value of phones with these specifications have inside them, especially when you have people on websites who tear open iPhone and Androids and list the real price of the components inside the phone, it seems like a win win to purchase this Android phone if you want super high specs/Top Tier.

I'm still enjoying the fact that nobody around me has a similar phone, that is actually something I like alot.

Wow the front really is a rip off the S6 edge. Phone looks good though. 6GB RAM, let's hope they didn't also steal the S6's RAM management.

RishiGuru, 01 Mar 2016After owning two Vivo handsets, my opinion will be to stay ... moreyour are lying about the software not going to the next os, the xshot back in the day did upgrade from jelly bean to kit kat but not for non chinese roms, besides having this latest os thing is really for ignorant minds, marshmallow isnt even finished just to say its the latest

people love to have latest os and dont care if it maybe be inferior to previous os.. because in their heads its impossible for the latest to be inferior in ram management etc

My guess is that Vivo may possibly launch this phone in India in April to coincide with the 2016 IPL. Afterall, Vivo is the title sponsor for 2016 and 2017.
