The only negatives are coming from the crapple camp. The icrap 6 had a 720p screen for god sake for 999.......... the Gs4 had a better screen and it was two versions older. In future it wont matter. The icrap 7 and 8 will have Samsung memory and samsung cpu running them. Either way ur buying Samsung. Hahahhaha

I had the Samsung Note 4, with the exception of the finger print reader, I was very happy with the device. I wanted something a little smaller and the S7 Edge had a lot to offer. The improved the tabs feature, its incredibly fast, excellent screen and a toned down touch wiz.
I can't complain, not to mention the device looks very premium.

But apparently, see and for a MONTH, as Samsung for several years, uses the same concept, the same skeleton, he restores and dresses with minor detailing, and then it is that their NEW phone. This is something that he will me INSULT the INTELLIGENCE.
And not to say that I'm a BIG SUPPORTER of their products. From this company pretenti large, because it is firm serious (at least until 2014) and I have expect always been very pleasant to buy from them.

So while you find the edge screens ugly, quite a lot of people find it elegant and futuristic. Not to mention that this year, the edge actually far more function and they've opened it up to 3rd parties to add apps etc to further integrate the edges.
But the real reason more people are going for the edge, if for the larger battery life. 600mAh is a big difference between the s7 and s7 edge.

That is simple - it might be not good enough for people to upgrade from s6 edge to s7 edge, but it is decent upgrade from s5. All manufacturers know that majority of people on contracts are upgrading every 2 years hence s7 never meant to be upgrade for s6, but rather s5 .. and it is very worthy one.
Same in crapple camp - there were always been "original" and "s" kids. both with their own reasons. Originals always said that they want to get latest iCrap first and that "s" are never worthy upgrade as it is usually the same (fact). "S'es" always said that "s" is refined version of original aka "all the issues of original design are fixed and phone is refined". Both of camps are partially right - lets take 6s example. 6 was #bendgate, but was obvious upgrade over 5s, while 6s was not a big upgrade, but fixed bend issues and refined few bits.

It looks great and original and cool, functionality wise I agree - majority of that is just software bundle. Finally, it doesn't make the phone unconformable to grip.
What is really d*md is to buy outdated apple devices which are made from cheapest parts available for $120 a piece and pay $700 for that c*ap...

Having so many people buying curved screen phones, only proves that people are just plain dumb. Paying extra for something that looks bad, has absolutely zero functionality and makes the phone hard to handle just makes a lot of sense.
