It's a great phone! Love the stylus, love the walkman, great pda with tons of brilliant features. No camera...but who cares.

got to say it looks like an awesome phone - if we ever see it! Its been "coming soon" for 6 months now, and meanwhile Nokia have released a 4gb music walkman style phone. Hurry up Sony!

I own a K750i. I bought and imported it to the US specifically because it has a 2MP camera. I have to say it is the absolute best thing about the phone (1600x1200 photos). Obviously the quality is not of a 5MP but it definitly good enough for prints and wallpapers etc. I can't say how many times a camera has come in handy standing on a street corner and a cool car goes by, or you at the store and you take pictures of dimentions on a tag for an air conditioner so you dont have to write anything down, or you have a good drink and instead of making a voice memo or text you take a picture of the stinking bottle. Its limitless. Point is you can have the coolest independent camera. BUT YOU DONT HAVE IT WITH YOU ALL THE TIME, on a phone YOU DO! It comes in VERY handy and I wouldnt buy a phone without it!

I want to buy a sony ericsson mobile phone. But i am confused. Which is the best? ( W900 or w950i). Will anybody suggest me to buy one of them? Besides, is w950i a handy set?

NiCkTHEbIG.. UMTS IS 3G.. it just doesnt have the camera.. 3G is not just video calls.. It actually high speed data transfer allowing 3G phones to have video call.. in the W950i's case high speed music downloads.. get it?

The SE w950 is a cool phone...some people say that not having a camera is cool as some of their companies do not allow camera phone etc. but the fact is today products is built around simplicty or should I say convenience. Having a camra on a phone is a convenience cause I am pretty sure not everybody owns a top notch digital camera pushing over 5MPx and even if they do they wont be carry the damn thing everywhere they go. Having a camera on a phone, its not the best quality res camera in the world but with SE latest camera which is a 3.2Mpx camera you can print some pretty decent std photo sizes for the on the spot type of photo when you do not have your lighting and other camera + equipment every min of the day with you...so yes the phone is cool but from a convienence point of view...like they say when you dont have it you need it most.Maybe SE should just come up with a eg. w955 so it can include the features the way the W800 has incorperated both Walkman and Imaging capabilities.

"useless QWERT" You obviously haven't typed many SMS or email messages! QWERTY is one of the best things on the P-series phones! :)
Though, P990 is not so sexy as P910 :)

This is a stripped down version of P990. Better design without that ugly flip and useless QWERT keyboard. I wonder why people go crazy for camera in mobile phones!!?? For those who cannot do without camera should stick with their previous model and should not even be spending time in this thread.

No camera ?What a joke. I would consider buying this only he it had atleast 2mp camera. I mean its a basic nessecity . Please dont release it without a camera.

There are people who prefer to carry a knife, a screwdriver, a corkscrew, a scissors, an opener, a hammer, a saw and so. Others just like to carry a swiss-jackknife. That is what modern mobiles are going to be: phone, camera, audio recorder, game player, audio player, video player, photo album, PDA, organizer, radio, mass storage, universal remote control, lantern, communicator (e-mail, instant messaging, SMS, MMS, push-to-talk), hand computer, etc. All-in-one. Am I missing something? How many pockets do you have to carry all these things? So, what is wrong with people who want a camera in a mobile phone, if such cameras are going to have the same quality?

Is it really no camera? wi-fi? why not a head-on collision with the other brand or a bigger MP? SE will rule because it's price depreciates slower than any other brand but should be fully equip.

Get a digital camera, not a phone of you want 3MP+, dont bother with phoens for cameras, honestly... im disgusted that people want that kinda camera in a phone.

Very impressive phone, sony should equip all its new releases with symbian because its a much better operator. Still feel though that the phone should've come with a mem card slot for those of us who use their phones as mass storage devices and the card slot helps with connectivety. Touch screen is a very cool touch but 3mp cam would of put the phone in a league of its own.
