Windows 10 is close to nabbing 13% of the desktop OS market

According to the latest report from Net Market Share, Microsoft's Windows 10 is continuing its upward spiral in terms of how many PCs it powers. This version now sits at 12.82% of the market for desktop operating systems, as you can see from the pie chart below.

Microsoft should take a hint on why windows 7 still has the highest market share. Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 all suck.

        Why didn't mention that this article didn't count the laptops, ultrabooks, ultrabook hybrids, Windows 10 tablets and such???

          There should be 'Uninstall Windows 10' button next to 'Start'.

            PC is not a console. Period.
            PC is diverse, you can't treat PC as console, because it will require an OS that only target lowest common denominator, just like UWP currently is.

Like a gaming console running same OS, there are less issues to deal with. They want people to use App store to purchase stuff. Windows 7 has no app store. Stop with your spying crap.                   They'll never get Spyware er I mean Windows 10 on my computer. I've disabled automatic updates and I'll wait until Windows 10 no longer becomes free after July.

                    Windows 10 is the worst Windows version ever. The only reason why it's market share is increasing is that Microsoft shove it down on people's throat (they enforce the update even if you don't want it), annoys people with update popups, pre-download the OS update in the background, etc.

                    The reason of it is that Microsoft want to collect your data, deliver sponsored content, spy on you. Windows 10 was built in the mind of spying, data mining. That's why they want to force everyone to use Windows 10. That's why it is a free upgrade.

                              Oh Xp is still close to window 10 well that's good but actually windows 7 is very much stable than window 10.

                                  Still Windows XP is the best operating system in the world. Windows 8 also can be turned into a good, usable operating system with ClassicShell program. But you have to disable a lot of unnecessary bloatware services to make Win 8 usable. All Windows since Vista icluding a lot of unnecessary services (that shortens the lifespan of your HDD and SSD and wastes your system resources) like Superfetch, search indexing, automatic maintenance, automatic disk defragment, automatic update ... .

                                      i tested my 3 year old Notebook (pre-installed with win8.1) with win10. finally went back to win8.1.
                                      upgraded to win10, after some time, the notebook run slowly for unknown reason. maybe because of some hardware drivers issue. better stay with the OS version the notebook comes pre installed with
