The lads over at XDA does amazing works. I've been running Marshmallow on an old Galaxy S2 i9100 for a month now, and no major hiccups so far. Smoother and lighter than Samsung's own last official Jelly Bean update from two and a half years ago. Expect to see newer, unlockable, Knox-less Samsung devices to get AOSP supports far in the future.

Vancer, 02 Mar 2016What does it mean? i dont understand. S5 has a fingerprint ... moreYes, it is the first S series to have fingerprint scanner. Since always. But not the same type we see in S6 or S7. It is the 'swipe' type. Completely different form of technology we use today.

Who said that s5 is a old phone? lol. I An here with really old - Samsung galaxy ace 2 and now rocking with cm13 marshmallow 6.0.1 like a boss. ROM is stable, only few bugs which will be fixed. :)
