$350 is too expensive. I'd say considering that this is an Android device, it should not be priced more than $99, because there's no increase in quality and/or consistency when you pay more.
If this phone ran Windows or iOS, then $350 would be considered to be a low price.

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2016I wonder how many millions would have bought it if they had... moreIt does'nt go that way.Now after 11 months most probably all R&D,marketing and distribution cost are all covered. So LG could allow itself to sell the leftovers with low profit margins.
We know that flagships(any brand) cost between 180$ to 220$ to be made, plus all the afforementioned costs. So any brand will "gamble" and try to sell as much as it can for highest price it can. This is very delicate balans, and depends on many factors(including:brand image, aftersale service, software support etc etc) and marketing above all.If that strategy is executed right, any brand will earn 'healthy' couple of hundred $$$ per unit sold,or bilion dollars on overal sale.
The big corporations does'nt care how many people could've allow their product "otherwise"....instead,only thing they care is their "profit".
