LG Viewty Snap almost official, three LGs coming to T-Mobile

2 June, 2010
T-Mobile is getting a scoopful of affordable LG phones and there's another LG on the verge of becoming official - the LG GM360 Viewty Snap otherwise known as Bali. Two of the LG handsets for T-Mobile...

My wife has an LG GS170 cell phone. Basic, but OK for her use. We're so disgusted with the customer service (or lack thereof) at T-Mobile that we want to use another pre-paid minutes plan. Will this phone work with another plan?

If you are used to Nokia like I am, then this is NOT the phone for you. I just bought this phone an hour ago and I've already decided it's going back for a refund. I put a hole in my wall from the frustration this phone has caused me for the time I've had it. Texting is nearly impossible since I can't get away from the auto-spell (I've gone through EVERY screen that says "options"). In order to spell a word you have to type something close and find the 'spell' button where 'menu' normally is; then you can enter the spelling 'scratchpad' and spell your word and THEN add it to your dictionary. I don't have time or patience to write a dictionary...sorry. Like most other reviews, the phone feels very cheap but I bought the "free" phone so I'm not complaining about that part. The feel is all wrong. Theres is no tactile definition between the keys, with the exception of the 2 completely random raised dots on the '5' key.

The only positive things I can say from my experience with this phone is that the camera seems to give fairly good resolution and that the phone is light enough to be thrown quite far. Sorry LG but the LG GS170 Red is a terrible, terrible phone. Nokia 6133--best simple phone ever made for the price.

It seems not many people are interested in lg. Samsung, iphone and especially nokia always attract lots of comment with every news, but look at this......by the way who buys lg anyway. How can it be possible that an LG phone suits your lifestyle more than nokia, samsung, se, iphone, htc phones does.

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2010unrequired garbage i know GSMarena you're a phone review... moreSince you work in a mobile shop you should also know that not everyone is looking for a high end phone. Its actually good to have reviews even about simple phones so you can actually show them with confidence to your customer and have background on them. Specially since not all companies will train you in the smaller end of phones and mostly focus on the higher end ones (not that I blame them).

How about just not viewing what doesnt exactly interest you and shutting the hell up for once and not complain about what a site and doesnt have?

this site is for reviews on all spec phones not just high end high price ranged phones not everyone can afford top of the range all singing all dancing phones so these are an option for anyone as you should know if you work in a phone shop..or are all your customers high end phone buyers??? i think not...

Since impressive phones long time ago like Viewty and Arena, LG seems to have been in sleeping mode...Hope they will come up with something new and worthwhile.

                        unrequired garbage

i know GSMarena you're a phone review/news site but these low end phones are nothing but garbage, i work in a mobile shop and it doesn't matter what features these phones have their just bought as prepaid crap

i think its time the site focus on key phones more and not the 6700 type remakes

look dont take this the wrong way you guys do a great job and always have been but i think the phones like these are not worthy of news anymore or reviews.

                        thanks

                        later guys
