The Sony Android 6.0 Marshmallow update that Sony just pushed is defective. Do not install the update OTA. You could lose the ability run google services, update applications and delete applications. Your applications on the SD card will break. Your phone will crash when you receive a text message. Once again, SONY HAS FAILED to build reliable software. Avoid this update. Do not install.

i want to tell you two things...
1- please never give up practicing english. comments are a good way to practice, but the only downside is no one will help correct your mistakes.
2- i have a really nice battery saving app on my sony device. i never use the standard camera app, although there's not much wrong with it. sony home launcher, whats that? all thats left is app permissions. really, thats no reason to get up in arms. as i havent used the new app permissions personally, i cant really comment. as i heard, the new app permissions pop up when the app wants to use something specific. really. constant popups while using new apps. i cant imagine thats a good thing.
anyway. someone tell me, whats so great about marshmallow. please.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2016please don't make a joke.i have htc one m9 and got android ... moreI'll call it a delay if Sony planned to upgrade a few models or 2015 flagship devices only like most companies, the number of Sony devices which will be upgraded is equal to Samsung & HTC devices combined it's even gonna upgrade the Z ultra Google Play Edition from 2013 so i don't find it strange at all to be some delay which is not a big deal.

Both of LG G4/ Galaxy S6 was released on April 2015
the Xperia Z5 was released on October 2015
it's a 5 months of difference .. and they are now getting the MM 6.0 update in nearly the same date .. some rumours says that it's even the 5.0.1 for the Z5 Sony made a great work .
As a Z5 owner I personally wasn't expecting the MM 6.0 update before July 2016

better late than never, and to be honest I don't care. They said android 6 would come to Z5 and that was enough. They needed time to iron all the glitches I bet, but don't take my word for it. Wait to read a few opinions of the update before updating to mm yourselves.
