But it is removable & beyond that the UI is clean, lite & fast unlike touchwizz.

Sony's problem is they are losing originality and marketing is bad. I wish they make an Android sturdy like K750, patch still working. Though I own a Xperia ZR the water proof patched are a flimsy and already both have got detached and bad idea. Sliding covered preferred.

I second your comment. Also owned the Z1, Z2, Z3 Compact, Z5 Compact. Also put phone in my back pocket, never a scratch, always worked beautifully.

people who keep claiming that sony mobile screens crack are talking rubbish. I started from the Sony Xperia s, t, z, z1, z3 compact, z3 and now looking at z5 premium and I have never had a problem with sony screen's, heating or any other issue. If you do crack or smash your screen it is replaceable via Sony or a phone repair company. The other thing I have read is the screen's crack while the phone is in your pocket again rubbish, nonsense talk.

sony screen is bullshit, when cracked the phone has to be thrown in a bin. Z3 gave me the same problem

If they want to stay in the market any longer then they need real improvements. Not this rubbish... comparing this "new device" to the other companies is a joke.

ART-u are probably a kid angry that sony on the pictures looks worse than sheisungs or Lg devices. But first u have to know technology used in new x serie and after that maybe u will realise that new serie x is not bad as u though before. I will not tell u what i mean.This is job for u to search for new technologies used in this new line. Second- pictures, movies is one side and real feelings is another . Personally i wonder if thay remember about compact concept.....

Please read the articles source. Sony developer. The ensuing debate is pointless. It's information from Sony's own white paper on the device.. It's not speculation. The information has been compiled into an article.. The source also lists the single sim variant. If anyone decides to choose fact over fiction, go to the source.

Here we go again...once again SONY shows up to a gunfight with a knife. This is not really a top-end flagship phone. What happened to 4GB RAM? What about Quick Charge 3.0? Has SONY improved camera performance, or is this the same crappy camera from the Z5? And will they bring it to the USA market, or will SONY once again ignore the USA and push this phone in India or SE Asia where most people cannot even afford to buy a loaf of bread, much less one of SONY's over-priced, under-rated phones. If it costs more than USD$650 it's not worth it. I think a chrome metal back option would be very elegant and unique for this phone, but looks like it's not going to happen. I will wait until September and see what else SONY has up their sleeve...hopefully a "real" full-spec'd flagship phone with all the right bells & whistles....for a change. Is the Z-line really honestly dead, or are all the rumors about it just rumors? SONY is so confused right now they don't know whether they are coming or going, and neither do their prospective customers. Maybe that's why SONY can't sell any phones.

if on the 16gb version there are 12.9 free it means it takes 3.1gb and not 15.
