lumia 950 XLYour results (3X the result of the 810 posted here) is probably not with the same version of Antutu (this was posted in mid 2016), or not with the same settings !!!
Do you really believe your chip has 2X the power of the Snapdragon 820 ?

How much power is consumed by each processor in achieving the benchmark results. That is crucial information especially if the results are within 10% of each other but one achieved the results at 1/2 the power.

My Oneplus One with its now outdated Snapdragon 801 and Adreno 330 is still up to the task and has never let me down. Personally i think 1080p screens hit the perfect balance between reasonable clarity and good performance/battery life. QHD screens are great but again not a deal breaker for many i believe. A 1080p screen with great brightness, color saturation and viewing angles is any day better than a QHD screen with low brightness, washed out colours and poor viewing angles. I think its safe to say that 4K screens on mobile is just plain overkill, i mean come on, does one really need 700+ ppi on a small 5-5.8 inch screen. We dont even have to take about the performance hit and battery life.

saur, 06 Apr 2016how can sd650 n sd652 have almoist similar antutu when 652 ... morea box can fit 100 will fit 100 even serveral rows and columns created..if it exceed it fails as SD810. 28nm chip cannot exceed this, else it heats up and become unstable. if 652 is made on 20nm or 14nm then it can fit more as heat is less smaller the manufacturing process. qualcomm called 14nm quad core design snapdragon 820. got it

The adreno 530 is higher, I don't know about where you're getting benchmarks for the g5. And also, I don't understand why you continue this just because I pointed out antutu uses on-screen tests.

Went to edit (spaces between words) and ran out of time....
We need to look into the reasons a system was designed the way it was. what it's end goal was trying to achieve...
For the record I would chose Exynos due to the nature of the sound chips paired up with them, purely because the Qualcomm chips are nothing special with regards to audio. (And benchmarks in an audio part require a lot of background knowledge before any of it comes into play... Given most people are not aware of the impedance of the driver units in their headphones, is reasons why people come to websites like this; they want to find out more, from a specialty site, about what the 'experts' say...
It really doesn't help when we experts are arguing over trivialities. We mislead newbies and casuals with irrelevant numbers.
Eg 6gb of ram in a phone? Sure, maybe for a developer.I say maybe,as most developers would be happy with and even prefer 2-3gb of high speed ram on a fast/wide interface.
Does a few percent speed matter in the processor, for a phone user who wants emails and to send business texts? Probably more than a faster gpu that a gamer might want.
Now, when we all go back to our respective forums, less 'fanism', more fact, hey!
Qualify whether the little things that seem to matter heaps to us, matter at all to most others.
It keeps our webforums accessible to all.
Hundreds of thousands hit this site daily, and just want to read some useful info. If we write without slang auto translate functions keep the knowledge available to all..

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2016Samsung manufactures both apple and Qualcomm chips (820). S... moreA lot of their optimisation is 'app specific', (task specific I suppose, such as h264 playback...)
Which just widens the difference between real world usage and synthetic benchmarking.
A manufacturer can design hardware to do specific things well.
Or they can just chuck as much money at high powered parts that will show stronger results in a benchmark. This hardware will not do so well in battery tests generally....
This is why when we read well researched reviews that present the stuff that actually matters, we seldom come to a website like this touting how something 'rules supreme'.
The class of device and 'power/capability' we get in the top tier parts from the industry best are exactly that,..irrelevant of 'spec sheet numbers'.
If I could choose between Exynos or Qualcomm S7? I would go Exynos in a split second. Wouldn't have to think about it or compare numbers to see how it performs; it will be their best part, might even get software optimisations to utilise the chip more effectively (eg music playing on a 'low power' core designed for this task, and so might give better battery life.
I know on iPads, video in safari sips battery power but YouTube sucks it away.
All present generation flagships are very powerful... Real world users will ACTUALLY NOTICE every other aspect of their phone, in more meaningful ways, than a slight speed difference between two brands of chip.
But sure, let's PLAY the numbers game
{Lies,damned lies... And statistics}
I'm sorry which benchmark were we using again, and does it coverall important stuff (like temp and battery consumption whilstthesetests were being performed, in an air con lab no doubt...)
My yellow is yellower than your yellow. If I yell this enough, it will become common knowledge!

mas39, 08 Mar 2016Yay, Qualcomm as we all expected continue as the kings of t... moreSamsung manufactures both apple and Qualcomm chips (820). Saying that I believe even the ram used in apple phones and Qualcomm is samsung ram. Also the ddr4 ram used in the iPhone 6s is running at a higher frequency than even old 810 and 805 chips yet gets the same 25.6 GFlops p/s or whatever (around that) performance (I believe it runs at 3200mhz in iPhone 6s). Truth is apple gets better marks because of better optimisation and screen quality (they can focus on 1 chip running 6s and 6s plus, snapdragon and exynos are used in 100's of variants running different versions of android/windows on different manufactures (HTC, Sony, lg using their own ui).
