And it's LG doing the promotion, not the local govermment. You probably should think things through first, before blabbering your mouth.

its in the Philippines which not quite a fan of LG, prolly if its Sony, Asus or Samsung who sponsored a contest then people might be interested. and corruption plays a part who will be picked.
As someone whos working on a Telco, I can see the real scenario behind those contest.

Few people have the ability to understand that the BATTLE for supremacy among producers cell phones started in January 2016. Now we see his moves to become LG, number one. Works much better as Samsung.
On par with Xiaomi and Sony.
I have seen that it is the end of the battle, in my magic book. ..:))
