people stop complaining about stock ROM not having multi window... Stock android is pure ROM without big tweaks. That's why it runs fast and smooth. More years, more optimisations and etc. Google will not spend 2 year to release a new android version... (talking about Samsung touchwizz when their flagships are just about to get marshmallow, when android N is already showing its face. So yeah. 1000 people can not work in one place, cuz they need to know each other what is what, so money will not help here. They need more time that's all, and you can't buy time with money.

Akinaro, 09 Mar 2016Company that have almost unlimited resources and money. Com... moreSo much agree with you, it is a real let down that many much needed features aren't added up till now still. Personally multiwindow and battery draining google services are biggest issues to resolve/ most anticipated feature that I want.
Thankfully there are Samsung and LG who are doing multiwindow, well one better and other is runner up, and Sony has mini apps, also with help of rooting and xda you are able to get all apps to run for LG G3 at least and ou get xposed to have mini apps too.
But why such hassle, also rooting is risky and voids guarantee.
Most importantly being limited to Samsung or LG if you want this feature without rooting is limiting, they do have some good phones, but there are just so many great phones to utilize this feature on, especially the big screen ones.
Like would be awesome to have it on Huawei mate series, One Plus or Nexus 6P, well thankfully soon enough it will get one now. I hope the way they will incorporate it, will be very useful. Note still has the advantage with S pen features as a powerhouse.
But seeing multiwindow ability to any phone would be dream come true, especially for those who can't buy newest flagships or don't wanna buy outdated flagships from LG and Samsung.

AnonD-64830, 09 Mar 2016No sign of Android M for LG G4 on 3 Network (Android 5.1 at... moreBy turning to other brands I assume you mean getting a Nexus, which only rewards Google for not making Android an easy to update system.
At least the G4 has official Cyanogenmod support, so you should be fine in that front (provided you have the international model, the only that has unlockable bootloader).
Apple does start to come to mind, it's not that much more expensive than the Androids we talk about, yet they do understand what a "premium" product is (notably the kind of support that is expected). On the other hand, iOS is much more limited than Android and jailbreaking to get the experience we are used to can have more "nasty surprises" than the usual Android root/3rd-party ROM (it's much harder, if not impossible, to revert. In Android going for a 3rd-party ROM usually makes your phone much more secure. In iOS jailbreaking greatly reduces the system's security).
Oh... and you can't compile iOS from source... (like in Android/AOSP)

Meanwhile most phones and tablets still have to receive marshmallow.. that aside N (hopefully not Nutella, it doesn't sound nice) seems nice, especially on tablets with the multi-window mode!

No sign of Android M for LG G4 on 3 Network (Android 5.1 at moment) and no sign of Android M for LG G Flex2, Let alone Android N.
LG like other companies need to update their phones otherwise buyers will turn to different brands next time.
Apple Updates their phones regularly.

Multi-Windows, Split-Screen multitasking, on Android barely by 2017 ?!!
Thank you Samsung for your continues innovations. I have been enjoying these highly advanced features on my Galaxy Note 2 since 2012 !!! Now 5 years later the world is trying to catch up!. Keep up the innovations Sammy with Gear VR, Gear S2, Gear 360.. P.S. I Really enjoy Fast Wireless Charging And KNOX Military-Approved Security on my Note 5!

Company that have almost unlimited resources and money. Company that own android....
Only now they manage to put multi-window system.
Still they can't put automatic day/night mode or at least dark theme for system.
Still can't make default full 360 screen rotation
Still can't optimize their lame Google services that for almost 50% of time reason of battery drain.
Still have some part of system that are copied from android 2.3(not new look/ better usability)
Still fight with modders by blocking root access even if no matter what they do modders gonna access it.
Still don't use big HD screens(read "let's put one big button is space where you can squeeze 3)
Still don't have option to... Change screen resolution. Yes you hear that right. On my xperia lowering res(one quick restart nothing more) I can make battery last longer almost 30% and I have huge performance boost.
But yeah. Good work implementing something that my low end Samsung tablet have for few years...
