I have one on preorder. It is replacing my trusty galaxy note 2. This new s7 edge is an exciting bit of technology.

Inline with earlier reports? you gsmarena is really funny... you said S7/edge got record pre-orders... but Samsung says stronger than expected... there is a lot of difference there...
and depending on their expectations the pre-orders can never be judged...

Here is the catch, no figures given, where are 57.2 million units in Stock with Samsung. It always will create hype, and it will die, by passage of time. 700-800$ price is not lollipop, and nothing new, even same design, beefed up specs or MP ¬ why not continue same lower to 5 MP. Increase aperture. Just sit back and watch the show!

Tried a black version of the Edge in a store today. Incredibly fast. Faultless.
I've been searching / waiting for a suitable new phone for 3.5 years now. The S7 Edge is it! :))

Ordered last week. Dont think about the price value after 1 year. The important is How will you maximize the great features of this phone. If you love photography and you know how to use the manual/pro settings, good for you.
If you are low tech user then this phone is not for you.
