The same thing happened to me when I had Xperia Arc. So, the best way is go to a Sony service center and they will fix it, but note when you will get the device it will be running on the same OS version which you got out of the box when you purchased it. Also all your messages, contacts, apps, data on phone storage will be wiped out. So, you have to again download and install the marshmallow update. Don't worry it's just a minor issue, and pls do reinstall the marshmallow again and then install your apps and restore your contacts etc. After that pls do share your experience with the new Android OS.

In Indonesia the up date is already available through PC companion, without it, the phone could not detect the availability.

am i the only one who is having difficulties watching a video and then the apps just cant load the video 'press to retry' thing comes up. it will not funtioning if i didnt restart my phone.

I've been an avid supporter of Sony over the past 10 years. Since buying the Z5 shortly after its release, I've been having issues connecting with my 2013 VW Golf via BT. Not sure if anyone else has been having the same problem?
Odly, the Z5 connects with the 2015 VW range. Sony must have forgotten to write code for cars beyond 12months old.
In the recent update there was no change to improve BT connectivity on slightly older vehicles.
Any suggestions?

i think its bad. i did update my phone and now it wont turn on, it just show the sony and android logo then its blank and then it turn it self of and blink th red light, before turning on and repeat... soo, hope the update did not break my phone? :-/

Davood , 10 Mar 2016We are not talking about a bullet proof vest we are talking... moreman, obviously you are lucky or simply never had z3c, these back doors cracked by itself. I guess they just cant handle charging heat and that glass cracked, without any dropping.
