New Waze for Android update brings smart reminders, reduces battery consumption

The Android client of the Google-owned navigation app Waze has received a new update that bumps the version to 4.0 and brings along some new features like smart reminders, as well as various improvements.

The new version heats my phone. It did not happen before.

    I like it gives me real time updates on the traffic and also provides alternative routes realtime.

    my dilemma is that my phone(Note Edge) heats up a lot when im using it. probably because of gps setting and continually searching for areas.

    im from the Philippines so some routes are a bit outdated, good thing it hasn't provided like a dead end route. im an avid user since I like to travel, I guess its not Waze fault why directions are delayed might be because of coverage which it sucks here.
