Thumb down for Apple.
This phone is NOT worth buying, and i am sure it will have a high price tag. Apple is just covering their HUGE loss in the PC Market with Iphones and IPADs. Ipod touch was really nice to have, then came iphone, we said, ok, it's cool to have a bit of a bigger ipod touch that supports Calling and we enjoyed. But all the rest, 3G, 3GS, Iphone 4, IPAD, they are all pure commercial work, no technology.
I'm here with 4 of my buddies and we all agree on giving apple thumbs down.

Can anybody comment: is it true A4 CPU is actually manufactured by Samsung on Cortex A8 basis...?

hi,see i love almost al brands samsung apple nokia htc sony ericsson lg and so on!!!
and i had of this brands....but when it come's to best user experience apple is the best in touchscreen!
and i agree that you wil pay more just for the brand!
nowe i have a samsung wave,and it has almost the same spec's as the new iphone!
and for me thats good!
and dont need 12mega pixel's on a phone or i dont need Wenon flash......!!!
i change a lot of phone's and always when the new iphone comes out i wil get one.

Before you start saying that I'm Asian, let me assure I'm not. But ANY company, not only Apple, who has such work ethics should be condemned...
Now, for the UI part: tell me what differentiates a iPhone grid-like UI with for instance the grid UI from my former Nokia 7650? Touch-screen? That's it! Only the way you navigate in the UI!
On the iPhone you use the touchscreen and on my deceased 7650 the joystick. But the fact remains, the UI is based on the same layout. And I'm talking about a phone I owned, because I'm sure a lot of posters here can exemplify with other phones that had their UI arranged in grid form. Even now, the grid for displaying icons for your apps is still the most straightforward way to build a UI, so don't come and tell us Apple invented this method for a UI on a phone...

what the hell is apple thinking about? same old design ( just some little changes) there are loads of handsets available , much better than iphone 4.

Never even thought of that before. It's also easy to manage and with the low-res screen, it gives you the idea of a "smooth" and "fast" interface. Oh well, that marketing or you. And speaking of marketing, all the "undesired" pop-ups of iPhone4 prototypes to generate a hype for free is called "Viral Marketing". It saves you a lot of bucks, because you have "suckers" do the marketing for you. It's either save on marketing costs or on salaries at Foxconn... Wonder if they're paying funeral costs and compensating the families of the workers?

"Whoa, did we mention the iPhone 4 also has videocall camera. They call it FaceTime. Man, that's so 2008! And they are still not fully ready with it - in 2010 it will only work over Wi-Fi. Seriously, how hard can it be? And it only works iPhone 4 to iPhone 4. Ha!"
