And I thot I was THIS close to get my dream phone...but Alas!! Iphone 4 disappoints me with its video calling functions. I need to do video call occasionally and some of my callers do not use iphone. If their new function only allow video calling from iphone 4 to another iphone 4, I'm completely turned off to buy iphone 4. Its soo unfriendly and selfish of Apple! Sighhh.

I think that depends where you live.
Where I live the almighty brand is practically EVERYWHERE! From billboards to TV's, from magazines to shops...
The brand "dominates" the shelves of various shops with at least 3~5 different models in every price range, and don't tell me the shops display these phones for free (or there are that many people proactively asking for each single model)

In the end it is the individual's preference. iPhone 4 is nice with the design, materials used and UI but I think Samsung Wave overall will be more useful as a mobile device. Like I've said before, this would be my preference. Enjoy your iPhone 4 and I shall enjoy my Samsung Wave once it arrives in Canada. :)

I am so busy using other apps that I don't even get a chance to check those ringtones out. You're reasoning is quite lame. Maybe Sony, Nokia, HTC, etc need to go back to school and take marketing class. It might help them with their sales :)

That's why they've only implemented it on wifi. That's the main reason why video calling is still not widely used in mobile phones. The quality sucks. Other phones are probably not yet compatible with the iphone's video calling format, and that is why it would only work between iphones for now. But like what Steve Jobs said, it is an open standard format that the others can adopt, and when that happens, video calling on the iphone can be done with other phone brands as well.
