Galaxy S7 could help you use Chromecast on hotel Wi-Fi with web-based login

You know this has happened to you before: You are going on a trip which involves staying overnight in a hotel so when you pack you are thinking to yourself: “I should pack my Chromecast too!” So you roll the USB cable up with your Chromecast and stuff it into a suitcase while you think about what a genius you are.

Doesn't work with just S7 alone. Need one more device...
It seems to be a software issue though. Google Cast requires your to connect to the same WiFi network as Chromecast to complete the setup. But this is impossible because you can't connect to your own hotspot.

I can confirm this works! Worth the price of the phone alone! To do this before I would need my macbook and an airport router. Now I just use my phone! Does kill the battery though!

Um... why would you need to reset your Chromecast? Just open the Chromecast app on your phone, change the network to which it is connecting and that's it.

You could just buy an MHL cable. Oh sorry the S7 is so crap it doesn't even support MHL.
          Piece of Junk.

I don't know yet with Samsung S7 (still waiting for delivery), but with my other android device, I used Anycast 5G, it has wireless module that could connect directly to hotspot, so my android device still connect to the same hotspot. This is the product: http://www.amazon.com/SheenRoad-Anycast-Wireless-Display-Receiver/dp/B0179IREPO, but this product couldn't connect with my intel widi on HP Spectre x360 i7 Skylake
