Previous generation of DAB mobile phone uses telescopic antenna for DAB reception. I guess this LG uses the earpiece cable just like FM? No one will accept a telescopic antenna sticking out of the phone nowadays, but then reception is a big concern.

I love everything about this phone (especially volume/power buttons, screen size and DAB) except 2 things :
            - 720P !!! - are you kidding? 1080P is the minimum in 2016
            - 1.5Gb Ram - are you kidding ? 2Gb is the minimum in 2016

FIX it LG because your LGG5 is not going to sell well in 2016!!!!

As for compatibility, by belief is that DAB+ hardware is backward compatible with DAB streams (which the UK uses), but DAB hardware is not (or upgradable to be made) compatible with DAB+ streams.

You obviously have a strange idea how DAB radio works. It's just standard radio, gone digital. We're not talking streaming services or the like here, so I have no idea where you get the "listen to whatever i want" from.
