I love HTC, I still have the M7 and I love it. But phone companies aren't even trying to be different these days. I mean the new HTC 10, the Galaxy phones, Iphones, and Meizu all have the same basic plain look. No originality in design. And ditching the front facing stereo speakers was a huge selling point and helped make the appearance of the device. This one looks like Samsung, Apple, and Meizu had a 3-some and the HTC 10 was a result

No matter what they do with the cameras, getting rid of the dual front facing speakers that HTC pioneered is a step backwards.
You do not win customers by improving one feature, while eliminating the feature for which your phones are most beloved.

No Matter, 16 Mar 2016Every time they say camera will be world class, and every t... moreI have one m9 an after first update the camera bug fixed and I have no problem till now. and if you know any thing about photography then m9 with manual mode is the best. in auto mode Samsung and iphone flagships are 1st and in manual mode htc m9 takes unique and awesome pictures never been taken with other mobiles. please think before writing

AnonD-354743, 16 Mar 2016I have the M8...I waited for the M9, it was nothing great..... moreI felt the same way. The M8 looked amazing, and was amazing compared to everything else at that point, like the plastic S5.
Now Samsung have upped their game, and produced something special. HTC really need to come good on that camera, and the Onex and M8 really weren't anything special in that department.
I bought an S7 edge. No regrets so far.

Perhaps it's a 10 lens construction? Same as Zenfone Zoom? Power of 10? I don't know, just a shot in the dark.

I have the M8...I waited for the M9, it was nothing great...so I waited for the M10 and now everything I see or read leads me to believe that it it time to move on from HTC?

Mid range HTC Desire 826 Dual cannot even capture shadows properly, it turns it into reddish black. Where as 5mp old SGS camera can do it better, even the color accurary is better.
