20 March, 2016
Last week's poll aimed to find out where you stand on the subject, and looking at the results, Samsung has struck gold.

Gibby, 20 Mar 2016Why on earth did the do a poll with the S7 Surely the Edge... moreNot true. Edge is great but it is 5.5 in., and for me, it is too big. I'd rather have a 5.1 in device anytime.

So they just remove certain features so when time comes for an upgrade they will surely have a reason to lure you into upgrading.

              How suprising (not)

GSMArena, just stop with polls containing Samsung phones, we already know they win and having here a poll about how popular a Samsung phone is, is a stupid as asking an iphone user if they like their iphone, in both cases they win.

Just stop, we know people like Samsung but this polls gets boring GSMArena.

For me, lack of a lanyard eyelet is the only thing missing from S7, a big ommision for a waterproof device...

Surely the Edge is the star of the show this year and would be much more popular

Its the pricing of this phone that have kept my loyal to the galaxy s6 edge plus,it as always the same when a phone get released there is a big rush for people to get one,but 2-3 months later the price and rush to get one starts to fall,so will wait until the price does start to fall before giving this phone a try out,and then we should always get some news of the Note 6 features,as Samsung knows they need another outstanding phone released with Apple getting the iPhone 7 in September

AnonD-442287, 20 Mar 2016i dont think that usb type-c is an issue at all. usb 2.0 is... moreI agree, I think that use 2.0 will be fine for the expected lifetime of this device. Also whilst I would also prefer a removable battery, at least the S7 series has a reliable battery life (unlike the S6).

Not so much bothered about the Sd card slot, I would rather the S7 just offered 64gb or 128gb options, as their UFS onboard storage is much faster. I think too many people are still under the impression that quantity of storage is the most vital spec and often over look the speed of that storage.

The basic SD cards these days just can't cut it when it comes to speed, especially now that marshmallow is making FDE mandatory, and performance suffers as a result. Faster SD cards that can handle things like encryption are not cheap.

i dont think that usb type-c is an issue at all. usb 2.0 is perfectly fine. 3.0 works great too.
the no SD card and non-removable AND small battery was a deal breaker last year, but s7 has a good battery pack in it.
Also, i'd find it more of a relief if the phone was easier to repair but that's not much of a greater issue

The best smartphone, for now. Hope to see most of these features brought over to Note 6 and even more. I think it is time to get rid of wireless charging and use a metal back cover. Though, there is less complaining regarding the glass back this year. And I heard Galaxy S6 Mini will keep the high specs but only smaller. Good moves from Samsung. Kudos.

I played today with its camera(video). Omg this thing is so good, very good quality, very good stabilization and very fast focus, it's awesome.
Put at FullHD with HDR + Video Stabilization + AF(although, AF has to be activated manually but it does a great job on keeping focus on what you are interested when you do).
I love this thing, played all day long with this awesome camera.

Also the Snapdragon variant doesn't have the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
