Prasanna Wagh, 13 Jun 2010plzzz sumbody help me!!!! i'm unable to update my 5530 to ... moresearch for the firmware then download the nokia software updater... connect ur fone to computer via pc suite mode then if done, install the nokia software updater while ur fone is conneted. go to software updates in ur fone menu then check for available updates... update. then it will download. best if ur fone has an internet connection... dis is wat i did to mine. hope u can do it to ur fone...

my nokia 5530xm has a defect... it turns off when making or receiving a call... it's so frustrating... i also updated my firmware but nothing good happened... i also browse some forums and we all share the same problem...

The detail said that it would give ovi sync but where do i find it and why d hell they remove t9 prediction from web address input , the overall performance is improved no find option in music library but camera is not perfect in room conditions even the 2 mp camera of 5230 is better then this one and i expected nokia to improve this thing...

One of the great things about the device is the earphones that come with it which are very loud with great sound.

I updated mine using phone itself OTA. All went well and phone is fast now. UI improvements are there with kinetic scrolling throughout and new music player is cool with album art preview and kinetic scrolling in it is so nicely implemented! Thanks nokia for providing update!

hey..try this(if u can use internet directly frm ur phone)..dial *#0000#.....then info abt ur software will come...n den go to options >check for software updates>update...this is hw i did it in my phone...hope it works..:)!..enjoy:))!!

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2010its stupid that the Nokia Software Updater cant detect my U... moredon't connect it thru some usb hub, connect it directly to some usb port, eg on the back of the computer.... it's odd, but it works...

its stupid that the Nokia Software Updater cant detect my USB connection..i connect it but it still cant detect it.. therefore, i cant update it. but i can browse through my files in windows explorer just the updater says No USB Connection.. now i cant get my v3 update,

Everyone of you will jump to update your 5530 but some will find nothing, this is due your region, e.g. uk is always last to get firmware upgrades, so you might have to wait few more weeks to get this update in your region.

i'm unable to update my 5530 to new firmware(v30).. both ovi suit and software updater r'nt showing v30.. both show v20 as latest... plzz tell me what to do???
