Either the new software is not available for thle language set in your phone or you have bought it via n operator.if the latter, its normal to get the update later.

my sowtware updater cant find the update.. it says latest version is v20.0.080
n gives option to reinstall... even nokia's official site is also showing v20 as latest... what to do??

Still doesn't work... I didn't have any problems when I updated to v20.0.080 a while ago though. The software updater simply can't find the update.

Guys dnt worry if ur 5530 v20 hacked so u can update to v30 but must turn off all things in Rom patcher , after update u get full hacked v30, i try and work 100% ,

i cant update for anything in the world. My update software is up to date and is detecting the new software (v30) but when it moves to the final step (updating) it suddenly tells me IT HAS LOST CONNECTION WITH MY DEVICE ........................ WTF ?!?! i tried it for 10 times or so, even reformat the whole phone . And i dont have a firewall either
Any suggestions ?

Funny, it was available since several weeks ago (Latest software release for Nokia 5800 Xpress Music is 50.0.005 *). Check again.

Hi! If both OVI Suite and PC Suite recognizes my phone as updated (20.0.xxx), try updating it over the WLAN. Click on application > SW Update. That's what I did.

updated OTA. Works fine, now I see kinetic scrolling everywhere. You can use it in any and all of the menus and apps.
