Nokia announces fair and square X5-01 plus Nokia X6 8GB

Today at Nokia Connection event in Singapore Nokia presented Nokia X5-01 - a rather unusually shaped squarish slider with a full QWERTY keyboard. Nokia also refreshed Nokia X6 with a new 8GB version.

I guess Nokia's following Apple's strategy of different memory sizes? There's what? 8GB, 16GB and 32GB versions of the X6.

            Really not into Nokia's designs. Best looking phone they have done in recent times is the E72.

                Actually Nokia did have phone planned way before the X10 Mini that looked like this.
                I cannot remember the name, anyway it had one of those hinge joints to slide the keypad by rotating it.

                  This phone sounds like a failed response to Sony Ericsson X10 mini, only without the touch screen, and for 165 euros! Very disapointing move from Nokia there, trying to copy other brands but their phone has such an odd shape. Not sure it will sell to other people than female buyers who find it "cute"

                    Nokia do produce some oddballs, the Nokia 7600 I recall well, shaped like a lemon, and lived upto that name! Message balls ahoy, well what can one say it's er yep, UNIQUE!

                          its ugly and pink, and because pink is ugly, this phone is x2 ugly. And its glossy so it fingerprint nightmare and that mean... Its ugly x3. Its old symbian so its ugly x4 and it have small screen so we have ugly x5!

                                fair and square? it's just square to me. the 8 gb x6 is welcomed though.
