of all the HTC models made the M9 series was the only one that was a flop, m7,m8 and its derivatives are still super strong and worth the money paid
Now m9 had 1 serious issue, optimization, HTC M7,M8 were seriously well optimized, what I ve learned from changing smartphones 6 months wise is that all Android devices have good processors,RAM,ROM, etc all they need is OPTIMIZATION,
LG G4 is a phone that I used and is still using 1, its still as fast as iphone 6,Galaxy s6, and play games and hold em in RAM pretty much similar to iphone 6 and kick Shame sungs butt for that matter, its all upto optimization, the OnePlus 2 with all that 4 GB RAM,1080p and 810 isnt nearly as fast as the G4,
So All I want from HTC 10 is Optimization, not even QHD matters, G4 too is QHD yet it runs so damn smooth and multi tasks with such ease that I am always confident challenging iphone users, not with Shame sung,HTC M9,Xperia Z5, or the Chinese Xiaomi,Huawei,... etc for that matter

Frankly, i have some doubts that HTC has understood the lesson received from some of its fans last year. Hopefully, I hope, however, is not so.

Also there is literally no comparison between the two phones, the HTC is like a lambo and the iphone is quite like a ford escort in comparison.

M7, M8, M9, all superb phones, amazing build quality, not without their faults, but that's what makes them great.
The m10, on paper at least is shaping up to be quite the beast, it'll be faster than the S7, waterproof, another great looking HTC device, hopefully they've finally perfected the art of making a good camera, SD slot is present, 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal.
Anyone who says that this isn't going to be a good device is either on drugs or doesn't know what they're talking about.
Shame i've just bought a Nexus 6P : ( always the way. I thought that HTC were going with MediaTek. So bit the bullet and went google.

I am using M9+ for last 10 months and no problem at all. Design & front camera attract me very much!

Hope its better than the M9. The M9 will be hard to beat! Great battery life, screen sound, good cameras, excellent design. I truly hope the leaked photos are fake. If I wanted an Iphone, I would buy one, not one with a HTC Logo on...

Build quality is simply amazing. So is the front camera. Not to mention HTC Sense , which is the best UI out there. Hater gonna hate, Apple sheepfans , the same is happening to Samsung fans. Sure camera quality could have been a bit better (but it's not disappointing) but everything else is on par or better than what its competitors have to offer. My sister has S6, both devices are approximately 8-9 months old and i never got the feeling that S6 is so better that M9 feels like disappointment...no, it's not. Actually, her S6 managed to get a few scratches at the bottom of it's back while my M9 still looks as new, and except for the already mentioned camera it does nothing better than my M9.
As for the 10, I'm a bit surprised/disappointed that htc went with this 'another iPhone' design. As somebody said, now it looks as any other phone in the market...and imo they should have kept X9 design and put that stupid fingerprint scanner at the back or on the power button like Z5.

Apple, Nokia, Sony, and Vertu had been making phones with non-removable batteries before HTC had.

They only screwed up with the M7 and M8. Phones before and after them have good cameras.

It makes sense - no pun intended - that HTC will launch the 10 a bit late. If the 10 were to be launched much earlier, it would get overshadowed by the S7s, G5, Mi5, and Xperia Xs.

About time!!!!!!!!! pschhhtt no innovation my @55 i work at a telco and HTC phones basically never come in for repair. Probably 1 per fortnight. whereas Samsung and apple come in everyday because of stupid issues.

Looking forward to seeing it. You did an amazing job with the A9. Its smart, zippy, and beautiful. Easily one of the best feeling handsets out there. Pity it never came to Australia so I bought 3 from the USA. So it is with interest to see where the design evolves in the 10. You are known for quality. Keep an eye on price. mind you I cant complain as the Apple 6s was $1400 in Australia and the HTC A9 $549. Front speakers are no issue, they just annoy people around you.
