Yeah, most people can simply skip this product, since it looks like something for 'legacy support'. Many companies have their internal messaging/mailing/whatsoever-internal-business-application based on Windows Mobile. In that case, they are doomed to use Windows Mobile, like it or not.

Even the subpar display resolution looks like a "feature" - it won't break poorly-written internal applications' UI layout.

That makes sense on Samsung's OS strategy. Android for high end, Bada for mid range, Windows Phone for business models and TouchWiz for low end. Wonder where Symbian's fitting into this. Maybe it got kicked out by Samsung altogether.

Me, 15 Jun 2010I can't believe I bought an Android phone yesterday because... moreMaybe you've got an defective unit ... Android is more stable than Windows Mobile 6.5. Android DOES have it's small problems, but is far better then WinMo .

I can't believe I bought an Android phone yesterday because I was curious. I'd like to change my mind and take Omnia Pro 4 instead. Adroid is crap, WM6.5 might be convoluted and obsolete, but it doesn't crash every 3 seconds.

For everyone who wonder, why these phones have winmo 6.5 and not winpho 7:
WinPho 7 can't work on such small screens! That's the reason which Samsung stayed on winmo 6.5! The Omnia 3 and OmniaPro 6(slide) which would have up to 3.5 inches if come out will have winpho 7!
Inho, winmo 6.5 is far better that the winpho 7! Winpho 7 = Epic failure.

I was waiting slider qwerty OmniaPro, and they made 2 candy bars... I hate candybar phones with qwerty... And these two, are the 2 ugliest phones Samsung have made last 4 years!

although the windows mobile 6.x is somehow considered outdated but people who are used to use pda devices know well that there are softwares that are not available on symbian nor andriod but available only on winmo 6.x (also can be found on the iphone).
and strangely samsung is aware of that.

The problem with WinMo is that it is a very poweful OS, probably the most powerful out there and most manufacturers still don't know how to implement it into to hardware. It will make it easier for WinMo once the the manufacturers start using Snapragon 1Ghz processors.

Right now, HTC is the only company that can actually handle Winwo in the way that it is meant to. I have no doubt that especially HTC will still keep releasing their flagship phones with WinMo and not Android.

There are to many manufacturers out there that don't know how to program WinMo properly to their poor devices. WinMo need alot of attention when it implemented into the hardware, it is art that only HTC can master for now.

I am not a HTC user in general, but my dads WinMo HTC HD2 is probably the best smartphone i have ever used, it's in class of it's own, everything from from the easiness and push access to everything from media, navigation, data and social intergration.

It is a work of art. The only company that can make me use WinMo is HTC and i am very excited to see their next generation flagship carry WinMo 7, and i will moss definately et one myself.

Samsung doesn't seem to care, they were thinking that the market would be too dumb to notice. Apart from what I hate is that they're lack of after sales services, software updates not so ever.
