Microsoft is creating confusion and depriving many WP users. My Lumia 1020 has 2 GB of RAM & 32 GB of internal storage but 'Update Advisor app' says my set is not eligible for getting Windows 10. But the set from Microsoft with 1 GB of RAM & 8 GB of internal storage are getting Windows 10. It seems they do not like to allow Nokia phones run on Windows 10. This is not fair at all.

AnonD-180402, 24 Mar 2016Man, just stop using Google translate. ☺Mate, to be more precise, i was referring to my hope, like Microsoft, think, and will update those series of phones that are compatible with the new win 10, and nothing more, or less. As acted, lately, MICROSOFT it seems, as he understood, this.

-- Ad pop-ups? > Even windows has so. Even more they charge for games/apps which otherwise are free on Android. Develop a habit of purchasing stuff if you really want to get rid of Ads. You will do good to developers.

On 17 or 18 March 2016 Microsoft officially declared the Nokia Lumia 1520 as one of their devices ready for the Windows 10 Mobile update.
Accordingly, I was prompted to download / install it on the understanding (from Microsoft literature) it is NOT Beta stuff. But I got these rolling gears of death followed by that “sad face” sign :(-, which I learnt later to be a phenomenon among those who accept such risk while downloading the Beta stuff of Windows .
Basically my device is screwed as a result (totally useless), and don't tell me recovery tool because that will wipe out my personal data and put the device back to its old factory setting (assuming it would actually work).
Is there any hope in hell (knowing Microsoft, I know this won't happen any soon, if at all) that Microsoft would send another OTA firmware to fix the first broken firmware so that my 1520 will get out of this rolling gears and that "sad face" sign :(- without loss of data.

Even a naive user can notice many bugs here and there throughout the OS. And even a blind can tell that the missed call icon on the lock screen is not HD quality and is of poor resolution, pixelated, stretched out junk.

And they call it a final windows 10 mobile build?

Windows 10 is an OS plagued by issues around every corner , in every setting and in every user action . The dialer is slow as hell , music player shows wrong art and it takes 3 seconds to change music from notification (volume button) , no sound/vibration alert for blocked calls and sms , higher battery usage than windows 8 , and a totally unfinished overall design in settings , there is lag everywhere . Tried using it after resetting my 640 XL , fresh install didnt help either and reverted to 8.1 , windows 10 is a nightmare !
