( only stupid rich peop... moreRich people who already own high end cars that cost waaaaaaay more than this expensive phone, a rich person who thinks about that money as you would think on the money you'd spend on getting some neo lights on your car: They don't add any utility and actually increase the weight a little bit, but they may look nice. They got the money, they choose how to spend it. If I had that kind of money, I would rather buy a vertu, which looks really nice and stylish rather than a Samsung Galaxy made of gold, which let's be honest, doesn't really looks good.

I like everything about vertu, especially design, materials, quality. What I don't like is overload of design features. They should make a little bit simpler design, remove everything that looks like gimmick.

somehow i can't get around feeling that despite everything it's still just... you know... an Android phone. i'd be more inclined to buy a Motorola RAZR2 V9 or a Nokia 6600 fold.
well, obviously i'm not within the target audience. and maybe that's too much luxury for me

Design and looks vise,it's deff an eye catcher and different and unique in it's own style.
Nowdays all smartphones...actually mobile phones, look a-alike.
Remember the days when manufacturers used to have different designs like Nokia, Samsung, Siemens, Alcatel, Motorola, they used to have such different phones.
From that point of view, Vertu is great, for those who want something that's different.
Sure, the features on the Vertu phones are old, bad, outdated, you name it, and the price makes it a niche product but let's be hones, if it was affordably priced, wouldn't you get one?
