The high price just indicates that the new form factor is more of a luxury today than it is just another design. The RAZR series started off as a high-priced fashion statement, then dropped significantly in price afterwards.

As soon as the people come to accept the new FlipOut design, Motorola will reduce the price of this new handheld and subsequently new phones that will sport this form factor.

wow, 17 Jun 2010What a stupid price. You could get the N8 for 20 euros more... moreThe Moto unit costs less than your favorite N8 yet it delivers SUPERIOR voice quality over any phone by the almighty brand.

That's the greatest deal over any other competitor.

Plus this phone runs on Android, the 2nd hottest OS after Apple in the world. Don't tell me your OVI store would ever come close.

This is a new style, so new style comes with new prices, higher than normal. This is how "designed" phone (or anything that is "designed") works. You want to be different, and more stylish, you pay the price. You think it is silly, cra-p or other alike thing, obviously it is not for you.

About me? I will not get it because it is not for me either but I some how like its look, it is better than many others and it has good deal to offer for its group.
