BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition tablet now up for pre-order

The first Ubuntu tablet is now finally up for pre-order, after having been unveiled in February. The BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition is offered in two versions, one with 1,280x800 screen resolution and the other with a 1,920x1,200 panel.

If it runs an actual Linux, it's worth the money. You can use it as a fanless mini-PC with integrated display.

Ubuntu doesn't have to become big. There's no pressure.
    About support - no way, I get much better support from Ubuntu and Linux community than I ever got from MS.

      My DVp8 has been retired as MS forces updates non stop and cant be controlled and when out in the field there is no time for that.

      My eee pc runs peppermint 6 which is a linux distro and is perfect.
      Have so much more control over it then windows will ever let me.

          That's extremely expensive for a pretty mediocre device, better to pick up a Cube i7 Core M (which btw is fully Ubuntu compatible, they had a Ubuntu version in China, but resellers only have the Win10 model) for that kind of money

                oooo, looks and sounds good.

                would go the full HD version but i doubt ill ever see one in oZ unless shipped over.

If it can run perfectly on your server, my PC, and inside Tesla cars, I can't wait to see it on phones and tablets. This is just a beginning, for early adopters.
