SoundCloud to charge $9.99/month for its new subscription service

If you are an audiophile and especially one immersed in the vast indie scene, then SoundCloud is surely a second home for you. But, as you might have heard, the platform has been working hard on expanding its reach and appeal recently, striking various deals with the likes of Sony and other titans in the music industry.

            I dot understand. Are they charging people to use it or are they only charging new members? And what if I delete the app and download it again, does that mean I have to pay them now, or is it linked by account
