14" screen has just over 10% more surface area than 13.3" screen. I'm not sure this is a good thing, as you can always zoom in on chromebooks to increase text size. I usually run mine at 150% to make text much bigger!

I look forward to reading reviews of this 14" Acer 1920x1080 vs 13.3" Toshiba 1920x1080
There probably won't be much in it.

marclee37, 30 Mar 2016what is chrome os really? why not make android available on... morechrome OS is best suited for Learning and for kids. it has less functions than Android. It restricts the stuff someone can do. It also can't catch viruses thus great for people learning how to use a laptop and take advantages of its basic functions

More weak Atom chips. Why aren't these OEMs using the latest Snapdragons or Exynos? Chrome OS is architecture agnostic...

what is chrome os really? why not make android available on notebook form factor, or even desktop.
11" android notebook should be the first step. app developers will make the suitable apps.

My wife has an 14" HP Chromebook that has served her well for past 2 years. The only nuisance is the low res display. I'm definitely interested in this.

Hope the unit charges off a USB C port!!

I know what my next computer will be... I love Chrome OS, but need the linux command line (and to a lesser extent, X windows). Thankfully you can do this quite easily in ChromeOS! The price is entirely too good to pass up on, and the package is spot-on perfect.

We already have Chrome OS devices in our household, and having a 11hour battery is a compelling reason to own a laptop. Not having to ever *think* about battery life is a very powerful thing. It is also powerful to never have to consider computer maintenance, and minimally think about security. Google has something special in ChromeOS!

FromChinaWithLove, 29 Mar 2016I still don't understand the point/ meaning of the chrome O... moreit runs alot faster then a mac or pc and since most people just go online its ideal, hopefully they will make android apps run/stream on it soon too

I still don't understand the point/ meaning of the chrome OS, ever since Windows 8( the PC tablets age began)the market already filled with variety of brand for budget Windows tablets to budget Windows laptops. So, why would anyone still wanted to buy a chrome OS( isn't it have to connect to internet to work?)?

IMO Remix OS is better than Chrome OS
