Fiber Phone is a landline service for your Google Fiber

29 March, 2016
Google's latest service is anything but futuristic. The search giant has just unveiled its very own take on landline phone service. It's called Fiber Phone and for starters it will be available "in a few areas". At a later date, it will be an option for all residential customers using Google Fiber internet access.

$10? No thanks, I'm happy with 'Ooma Telo', $4.24/per month & getting all the features listed.

Edit: Oh, forgot to mention, I can call to Bangladesh cell phone no. @ 2.2c/min (thats including tax). On Google Voice its 3c/min. Pretty amazing right?

great now they can bug easily without much effort

LOL, when I read this kind of stuffs from India, I simply laugh hard. Fibre, ROFL, we still consider 512 kbps as broadband, thanks to BSNL though (and AirTel), and their classy users.
