coz at least it will be flagship and more custom ROM for it... maybe...
Redmi Note3 is pretty attractive offer with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM...
Malaysia is RM849 for this particular model, if Mi5 basic is double of this price...
i might rather wait for 2nd hand set then... or even go for iPhone SE...
i have already Windows and Android with me now, might as well get a iPhone for fun with near to RM2000...

Now, the 70% of the rest of the Xiaomi models have to wait for this. When Android N gets a 2nd beta update, we'll get Marshmellow...

Bob007, 30 Mar 2016i got the redmi note 3 sd version and yet there is no marsh... moreBob... don dream about it... the second tier like RedMi phones so far the upgrade support isn't that great... not only XiaoMi... but Samsung also don dream too much on pushing the OS version up +1... hopefully they really do it... but so far their upgrade on +1 version of OS is disastrous... i bought Mi3 during the 1st flash sales in MY, and they promise to upgrade to Lollipop around Sept '14... but after half a year of waiting i sold it off... can you see until now only they push it up direct to Marshmallow, because some ppl mention their MIUI v5-v7 have integrated those function in Lollipop... there is not point to push the update... what a BULLSHIT... if Lollipop isnt better than Kit Kat what for Google push it out...
For me easy... mid-range device u need to wait for long but Mi3 & Mi4 is XiaoMi yester-years flagship, they should update the OS asap, not giving excuse to delay it until 1.5yrs...

which means they are pushing the suppose update on Android version after 1.5 yrs of promise... haha...

coz i believe everyone is waiting for the Lollipop update for Mi3 & Mi4 because they promise it... it is not about the features which they already put into the Kit Kat version... is all about the commitment which you put in but after that for 1.5yrs you at not updating or let ppl know that you are skipping the Lollipop update of those phones... which is disastrous...
