Why can't we have a MidRange phone with like Snap 808 Cpu

Because microsoft knows android users are too gullible and are very much after the overly high specs of phone (even unnecessary).
Do you think MS will release 512Mb ram phone knowing that the competitions are releasing phones with 2 or 3 or 4 or even 6 gb ram? It's just a matter of common sense. How can microsoft generate sales if android phones are having 4gb ram then windows handsets has only 512MB ram? Do you think those gullible fandroids will even bother to buy a 512MB ram phone? Competition now is about specs, specs, specs. Specially to gullible fandroids! LOL!

Don't trust them...when I bought Lumia 625 ,they said 512 mb ram is enough...now no upgrades and many apps don't work...going for redmi note 3...good bye Microsoft...

BTW Android Lolipop can run on 1gb and maybe even less, if phone doesnt have high resolution screen. I have used all type of platforms, I am not Android fanboy, but there are reason why Apple and Google platform is so much more popular. And I can say that WP are not much smoother than Android, it has its glitches as well. But my point was, there is no need to make another low end Windows phone with 1gb, as we have lot of them, instead there are missing 2gb phone in last years for wp platform.

Maybe Gingerbread but Android Kit Kat, Marshmallow, Lolly Pop needs at least 1.5 GB for just run, and 2 GB Minimum for run nice.
Thats why iOS and WP don't neet too much RAM in order to run great, since the OS is fully optimized to run on their devices...

But thats not what i was talking about. For people looking for a new udget phone, this is a great option.

Lumia 640 is similar spec as 650 but way cheap. Walmart sales 640 for $29.99, you'll need to search online how to unlock from at&t. i brought 3 lumia 640 and unlocked, it will work with all gsm prepaid plans. very good choice for kids and people can't afford smartphone.

It's low-end and it was released costing $200. Windows 10 Mobile runs great on 1 GB of RAM. 1GB of RAM is only pathetic when the phone is barely usable with it. 1GB works fine here, even for multitasking. I have a Lumia 640 and it's just fine with switching quickly between apps and browser tabs. Also remember that 2015 was the first year an iPhone had more than 1GB of RAM.
