All things relatively equal, I would never give up waterproofing as a germaphobic person. I've experienced washing my phone in running water with soap, can never go back.

Go put both phone in your hand as I did and LG 5g is the better phone and looks great in person. The app draw is back and the reason I needed a new phone in first place is my batt. couldn't be replaced.
Don't buy a phone based on hype and looks plus you get a better price on G5

Samsung7 has its status, but is most vigorously promoted one. Lg is more innovative and techie with decisively better camera except in dark environment. Lg is slimmer and better looking than normal 7.

LG should have given more effort in improving the core elements. The battery life has never been the same since the G2 and the camera is essentially the same as that on the V10 with just an additional wide angle companion. Instead they concentrated on gimmicky accessories that almost no one ever buys. People want a complete package on day one. And that is where the S7 delovers.

I'm a Sony fan and I voted for the S7. Why?
Because I saw two videos with it on YouTube that made me think about switching to Sammy.
First video is where a guy takes the S7 and places it in the washing machine for 50 minutes and there was NO damage! - https://youtu.be/W2cnH1xzCPw
The second video is where an S7 is placed inside a casserole full of cola for 10 hours in the freezer at -24 degrees! And the best part is that after 10 hours in those conditions, the phone was still working! - https://youtu.be/W2cnH1xzCPw
On the other hand, the G5 is one ugly phone.
It has only two things that i like: USB-C and the lockscreen.
I really fail to understand why would people choose the G5. It has no chance. I'd hate to be an LG fan lol

I've had the G5 for a few days now after using a G4 for 6 months. I am very impressed by several aspects of this device. Mainly, I look for real world performance. Can it last through my workday? Is the speaker loud enough to leave my speakers at home when I work in my shop? Do voice commands run when I need them to? Is the camera fast and excellent in photo quality? Do I feel secure if I lose it? The answer so far is a resounding and unexpected yes. I really don't care if the body is metal or plastic or metal coated plastic..it feels awesome in the hand. The lines on this things would make an iPhone engineer question his positions. It feels good in the hand....period. All the other aspects of this device don't target Galaxy S users. They directly target iPhone users and the Andriod users like me that were thinking of jumping ship. I wished LG and Google would give me and Android powered iPhone esq experience....and it is not only here...it more affordable than Samsung and iPhone. I got the Gold G5 and it's good. Going to get a lifeproof case for it....because I feel comfortable investing in the platform this phone gives me.

which is better; the iPhone SE or the LG G5. and for sure, most of, if not all the votes would definitely go to the LG G5; including Mine!, HANDSDOWN!!
