Even though s7 is a great phone i like the lg g5 more. I feel g5 is more innovative of the two. While s7 is evolution of s6, G5 can be termed as a revolution. I am too old to be a fanboy of any manufacturer, but given the choice i will have the g5 with all additional accessories its comes it like separate DAC, camera module etc.

Yeah, sometimes they are down, sometimes they are up. There's definitely no patterns pointing downward any faster than industry avg. The same industry avg Apple is facing.

surprisingly samsung keeps low key for S7 sales clearly proves that it could be another disaster unless proven otherwise

Maybe they will release another edge plus so they can continue the trend of replacing their edge phones every 6-7 months..

But good point - ... moreMy Point was that the S8 or S9 might be a little awkward , that's why the successor of the Sony Z5 is the X Performance, which I don't feel it to be a successor, I think it KILLED the Z series and the flagship phones of Sony !!
the folding phones might really be the future for smartphones designing, but I think it would have a separated category other than the S series, because Samsung is already working on those folding phone as I heard before, and don't forget LG's folding screens which showed up in CES 2016
the camera might need an important comeback for the 16:9 aspect ratio , cuz I think the everybody agrees that 16:9 is the standard and the 4:3 images looks from the 90s and looks horrible in the gallery when viewing it

And besides, they don't release figures so if you think you can relate anything then you are definitely doing it wrong.
