AnonD-489047, 06 Apr 2016And how was it a flop again?Wait.. So you're expecting G5 to sell more than the G3? This hasnt been the case last year and I doubt it will happen now seeing all the success samsung seems to be having. Get off your LG Fanboy horse.

LG already used this branding with their test units of the regular G5, you can check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IvH4SAX1Xw&nohtml5=False

G5 SE is going to be a bad joke of the year. I am wondering if LG could not find any other name besides "SE". 👎👎👎👎👎😂😂😂😂

Unite will, other won't. Buyers of phones, will decide in the end whether this decision of LG company, is correct or not. What do you say?
Perosnal, know as modular phones like this. It is to our advantage. You can change your battery, primarily, and then other parts which can be update, on the same series, without having to give money on another phone.

Apple can't do anything because all smartphones industries go to copy.

Average phone buyers don't view that modular form as anything exceptional. Remember your curved phones? Who really cared about that? Buyers just want a phone that works, modular is the last gimmicky I would want on a phone. One piece phone is better than a phone composed of several detachable pieces.

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2016There is certainly some sort of legal move going on here. ... moreI don't think you can trademark the term SE. This is a common word. In cars SE means Standard Edition, Apple calls it Special Edition, maybe LG means something? In most cases abbreviations are difficult to trademark because they can be expanded into many phrases.
