All this best camera, best performance, best sound is all cool and stuff (maybe it can finally replace my Galaxy K Zoom), but what about battery life??
HTC has never been good with battery (maybe bit better than LG but not as good as Samsung phones). I wish they would release a teaser about their superior battery life, but sad thing - they are probably null on this for a reason :(
Here hoping that I can maybe downclock snapdragon 820 to 1/3rd of its speed to improve battery life yet keeping its performance...
What do you guys think?

Hopefully, this is true statement.
HTC you need to price it competitively. Over $500 price tag won't get much back in terms of market shares. You screwed your customers in the last 2-3 models, they will not come back so easy.

I'm exactly the opposite, I prefer a physical button, but needs to be a finger print scanner as well.

I'm not a sympathizer, HTC, but must admit, that this is an excellent phone, face of S7 from Samsung.

I can be defended if at least the absence of hardware buttons going to remove the bezel at the bottom , but it was never the case that HTC have thin bezels or good screen to body ratio.. so in conclusion... HTC doesn't benefit from onscreen controls, but just looses screen space..

HTC 10 can be described by saying - "who talks a lot, doesn't get up to doing much". The simple reality - they are behind the schedule and know that that are no match for S7 (not to mention S7 edge), neither G5 and probably not even P9... keep feeding everyone with words.. until the hype of the current flagships are over and they can quietly release their shameful phone.

Also it doesnt make sense to upgrade every year spending this kind of money on smartphones.
I ll try to restrain myself waiting to upgrade to M11 next year.

In the past they disappointed. Let's see if they got their act together this time around ( I highly doubt it though). Samsung released,LG released and many others out of China have already released their new smartphones. Hopefully it will not offer us a Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone at an inflated price with similar specs.
