TSA apparently paid more than $300K for an iPad app that randomly decides left or right

07 April, 2016
Some modders at ComputerBild decided that the iPhone SE was stuck in a body much too old to be sold as a new phone. We don’t blame them, the iPhone 5 was introduced in fall of 2012 so it’s about 3 and a half years old.

That app probably work on a sick flow algorism and shure is not randomly.
It might be able to sort passengers by ethnicty, or remotely from the CCTV command.

Make a program that measures time (Hour:Minute:Second:Decimates to 3 digits).
Make the program take the decimals, multiply them for the date ((month*day)*last 3 digits of time)
The number will be a 7 numbers digit. Make the first 2 digits select from a list of percentage tables. Make the last 2 digits be the percentage they'll gonna take of each table.
If last 2 digits are xx, on table xx means the answer is 1, where 1 left, 0 right.

People think writing a good rng is easy but ther... moreAlso, you can get 'true' randomness throught measurements of random data, like if the last decimal of the temperature of the CPU is even or odd, and things like that, and there exists chips whose only purpose is to give random data. Usually those chips cannot give numbers as fast as pseudo random number generator, but seems enough for this purpose.

Nothing is better that spending 300k on application that can be written in 10min.
I only known Delphi language and even if I'm really bad at it app that randomize arrow could take me about 20 to write...

I hope next time they would need app for time counter or calculator. But such more complex app probably would cost them 900k if not more xD
