You can only use smart switch installed to your pc if you wanted to check for update or backups etc. I think this is the new kies for latest models from note 3 onwards devices

Blowfishes, 21 Nov 2016How old is your battery? I had great performance until just... moreMine shuts down at 50% sometimes even at 80%. I have to undo the battery just to make it turn on again. But after I do that, battery percentage goes down to 0% and when I try to charge it after that when it's all turned off it shows 30%. It all started when I updated it OTA that has battery fixes*. It only made it worse everytime.

i hav updated my galaxy note 4 the version is 6.0.1 but marshmallow theme is not changing its showing lollipop theme only why it is happening so... pls advice

I had great performance until just after 18 months when my battery would die at roughly the 20% mark. Now it dies around the 35% mark and I'm looking to buy an official replacement. No matter how many software fixes Samsung release, they won't stop battery cell degradation I'm afraid.

N910Chad, 07 Oct 2016Any updates for Note 4 (SM-N910C) Globe PH - Android 6.0.1?... moreI had a problem where my phone was rooted from another devices files (yikes!, ikr i was stupid at that time, btw same phone i have note 4) and from then it was like march in 2016 and from then it messed up my phone pretty hard, and I couldn't update anything. I tried a ton of online support but it didn't work. The way I solved my problem was by downloading Samsung Kies 3 and manually updated my phone. Its now 6.0.1 (or the newest one, not sure right now) When u download SK3 just use ur USB and plug one side into the computer and other into ur phone. It it works properly u should see ur phone on SK3. and if ur phone is able to get the update (which it should) a notification should pop p in the middle of the screen saying something like a new update is availabe, want to update and then just click yes! and everything should be A OK! hope this helps ya.

Hi Everyone,
I have updated my note 4 to 6.0.1.... battery fast drain is still an issue in addition to sudden cut down when reached 20%, that's all. phone is not heating while charging any more. all works fine. I used Odin which is quite perfect and flashing the original stock Rom of Samsung....
